TEREZA KOVANDOVÁ

In her work, Tereza Kovandová experiments with various media and naturally combines both analogue and digital techniques. She works with strong colours, spontaneity, and the search for forms in random shapes and structures. In addition to drawing and painting, she has also long been involved in animation, which she studied at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU).

In her current work, she focuses thematically on motifs of nature, landscape, animals, and human characters. Instead of realistic depiction, she prefers an intuitive approach based on memory, imagination, and spontaneous stylisation.
