About the author:
In her work, Tereza Kovandová experiments with various media, naturally combining analog and digital approaches. She works with strong colors, spontaneity, and the search for forms in random shapes and structures. In addition to drawing and painting, she has also been dedicated to animation for a long time, which she studied at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU).
In her current work, she focuses thematically on motifs of nature, landscape, animals, and human characters. Instead of realistic depiction, she prefers an intuitive approach based on memory, imagination, and spontaneous stylization.
