About the author:
Tereza Kovandová experiments with various media in her work, naturally connecting both analogue and digital processes. She works with strong colours, spontaneity and the search for forms in random shapes and structures. In addition to drawing and painting, she has also been engaged in animation for a long time, which she studied at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU).
In her current work, she thematically focuses on motifs of nature, landscapes, animals, and human characters. Instead of realistic depiction, she prefers an intuitive approach based on memory, imagination, and spontaneous stylisation.
