GRAPHICS OF THE YEAR 2022 4/6 — 5/6/2023

Graphics of the Year 2022 presents a selection of the best contemporary graphic work from a wide range of artists and students - graphic artists. Graphics of the Year has become a platform for establishing intergenerational artistic relationships, offering a comprehensive view and the opportunity to evaluate the shift and trends in free graphic creation. All classic techniques are represented - screen printing, lithography, intaglio, letterpress, computer graphics as well as original author's techniques and an author's book.

The Graphic Arts of the Year has selected the most entries ever - 592 graphic works and author's books. The judges awarded 15 prizes in the main categories (adult authors, students) and prizes for graphic techniques. We exhibit in two exceptional spaces on Bethlehem Square in Prague: Bethlehem Chapel - Lapidarium and in the brand new Czech Gallery of Modern Art.

A group exhibition of this year's winner of the Vladimír Boudník Award, Mr. Šimon Brejcha, is installed in the premises of the Czech Gallery of Modern Art on Betlémské Square, and the winning graphics in all categories of the Graphics of the Year 2022 competition are also exhibited here, namely the Main Prize in Category A - large format, the Main Prize in Category B - small format, the Main Prize in Category C - student works, the Simeona Hošková Prize, the Main Prize in Category D - author's book, the Prize for lithography, the Prize for intaglio printing, the Prize for lithography, the Prize for serigraphy and the Prize for computer graphics.
