10. 4. 2025 | WE HAVE OPENED THE MOSEL WINE SHOP, PLEASE COME IN!
On April 10th, we officially opened our long-awaited Mosel Wine Shop. The inauguration and opening of the wine shop was attended by many distinguished guests, such as Professor Jan Pirk, MD, phenomenal tennis player Jan Kodeš , artists Miroslav Donutil, Jan Kanyza, singer Martin Maxa and our contemporary visual artists František Ringo Čech and Ota Jirák, whose paintings you can see right now at the current exhibition in our Gallery.
And what can you look forward to with us? great Mosel wines from German vineyards , which are grown exclusively on the steep slopes of the picturesque Moselle River. This wine-growing region is characterized by fertile slate soil, which absorbs a lot of water. sunlight and provides the vines with enough heat even in the cold north and the wines have a typical minerality for which they are sought after all over the world. In our wine shop you can choose from more than 50 of the best wines from five (so far) Mosel winemakers. We know all of them personally and we believe that you will also enjoy their wines.
But I must warn you at this point: Consuming Mosel wines is highly addictive – I know this from my own experience. Once you start drinking Mosel, other wines will no longer be so interesting and you will keep coming back to them. That is why for you We are preparing commented tastings , where we will tell you the stories of winemaker Andrea and her colleagues Peter, Stefan, Marc and Jobst over the wines they have created. There is a lot and this will last us for many more messages, I will write to you about Mosel and wine very often and with great pleasure - as long as you are interested and entertained by my messages.
You can also taste Mosel wines at our reception in the Gallery from Tuesday to Sunday between 11 am and 7 pm. In the form of free unlimited tastings in our Gothic cellar. For now, we will only be open in trial operation from Thursday to Sunday between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. We believe that our visitors will like it and we will soon return to standard operation.
And how does our wine shop work? For a fee, you can borrow a glass at the reception and then it's up to you which wines you'll taste. For our wine shop We are also preparing a club membership that will allow you and your friends to visit the wine shop outside of official opening hours - but you will learn all about that later.
The Mosel wine shop in our Gallery is open for you, please come in!
