Classic adaptation by J. V. Pleva in a new, exclusive form.
Robinson Crusoe - Cloth binding. This edition includes almost all of the illustrations Z. Burian created for Robinson Crusoe. It features an unused full-page colour illustration from 1956 and six full-page black-and-white illustrations created in 1964, which have not been published in the Czech Republic until now. It also includes the motif from the front cover of the 1964 edition, which is used in a modified form on the binding of our edition, as the available source materials did not allow for high-quality reproduction. Furthermore, there is even an illustration used on the endpapers from 1964 (the ship motif). However, this is only available with the cloth variant. So what's missing? Only the motif used on the dust jacket for Alois Hynek's edition, and the pen-and-ink drawing used on the cover of the second SNDK edition (1956).
Published in a limited edition of 50 copies.
