About the artist:
Františka Jelenová is a Czech artist. She studied at the Secondary School of Textile Crafts in Prague, specializing in fashion design. Her studies there provided her with a strong foundation not only in drawing itself, but also in other artistic disciplines. After graduation, she began to use these skills in her independent drawing and painting, largely inspired by the fantasy genre. A striking feature of her graphics, watercolors, and drawings is her exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Currently, she focuses on creating lithographs, ex libris for Czech and foreign collectors, and illustrations. Together with her father, graphic artist Oldřich Jelen, and her mother, academic painter, graphic artist, and restorer Veronika Jelenová, she has formed a team that complements and enriches each other on family projects.
