Relief Art 80x100 cm, author's structural paste, acrylic, 2026
About the author:
Veronika Manukyan's work presents both a visual and personal response to the oversaturation of modern times. The artist works with purity, structure, and light on monochrome canvases, where color is replaced by relief and light reflection. It is precisely the structure and its variability due to light that becomes a metaphor for the transience of the present moment – a theme that is a constant inspiration for the artist.
Veronika Manukyan creates relief paintings in which she works with mass, structure, and light as fundamental building blocks. Her work focuses on silence, harmony, and depth. She is interested in what happens beneath the surface – in the material, in space, and in the very perception of the image. She is inspired by Zen philosophy and the rhythm of nature, its natural balance, and flow.
Light is a key component of the work – it transforms the relief, highlights details, and gives the image a mutable character. The work thus responds to architecture and the surrounding environment.
Her work is applied in private interiors, development projects, and a gallery context.
She studied multimedia at the College of Higher Education in Jihlava, and her works are part of private collections in the Czech Republic and abroad, from New York to Dubai.
