Relief Art 80x100 cm, author's structural paste, acrylic, 2026
About the artist:
Veronika Manukjan's work represents a visual and personal response to the oversaturation of today's world. The artist works with purity, structure, and light on monochrome canvases, where color is replaced by relief and light reflection. It is precisely the structure and its variability due to light that becomes a metaphor for the transience of the present moment – a theme that is a constant inspiration for the artist.
Veronika Manukjan creates relief paintings in which she works with mass, structure, and light as fundamental building blocks. Her work focuses on silence, harmony, and depth. She is interested in what happens beneath the surface – in the material, in space, and in the perception of the image itself. She is inspired by Zen philosophy and the rhythm of nature, its natural balance and flow.
Light is a key part of the work – it transforms the relief, highlights details, and gives the painting a mutable character. The work thus reacts to architecture and the surrounding environment.
Her work is used in private interiors, development projects, and gallery contexts.
She studied multimedia at the College of Higher Education in Jihlava, and her works are part of private collections in the Czech Republic and abroad, from New York to Dubai.
