Tomáš Hřivnáč was born on November 1, 1959, in Prague into a family of an architect. He naturally had a close relationship with art from childhood. The author is a member of the HOLLAR Association of Czech Graphic Artists. His strongest means of expression is free graphic art, especially the drypoint technique, which Tomáš Hřivnáč masters excellently. He is therefore referred to as the "Master of the Velvet Line." The theme that the artist most frequently depicts is the female figure, which the author literally "reveres" through graphic techniques. He finds inspiration everywhere around him. In addition to fine art, he also dedicates himself to music and archery. In all the mentioned disciplines, he shows remarkable results. He is rightfully perceived as a Renaissance personality.
