About the author:
In her work, Tereza Kovandová experiments with various media, naturally combining analog and digital approaches. She works with strong colors, spontaneity, and the search for forms in random shapes and structures. Besides drawing and painting, she has also dedicated herself to animation for a long time, which she studied at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU).
In her current work, she thematically focuses on motifs of nature, landscapes, animals, and human characters. Instead of realistic depiction, she prefers an intuitive approach based on memory, imagination, and spontaneous stylization.
