About the author:
Tereza Kovandová's work experiments with various media, naturally combining analog and digital processes. She employs vibrant colors, spontaneity, and the search for forms within accidental shapes and textures. In addition to drawing and painting, she has long been involved in animation, which she studied at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU).
In her current work, she thematically focuses on motifs of nature, landscapes, animals, and human characters. Instead of realistic depiction, she prefers an intuitive approach based on memory, imagination, and spontaneous stylization.
