About the author:
In her work, Tereza Kovandová experiments with various media, naturally connecting analog and digital processes. She works with strong colors, spontaneity, and the search for forms in random shapes and structures. In addition to drawing and painting, she has also been involved in animation for a long time, which she studied at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU).
In her current work, she thematically focuses on motifs of nature, landscapes, animals, and human characters. Instead of realistic depiction, she prefers an intuitive approach based on memory, imagination, and spontaneous stylization.
