About the artist:
Františka Jelenová is a Czech artist. She studied at the Secondary School of Textile Crafts in Prague, specializing in fashion design. Her studies at this school provided her with a strong foundation in drawing, as well as in other artistic disciplines. After graduation, she began to apply these skills to her free drawing and painting, largely inspired by the fantasy genre. A prominent feature of her prints, watercolors, and drawings is her exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Currently, she focuses on creating lithographs, ex libris for Czech and international collectors, and illustrations. Together with her father, graphic artist Oldřich Jelen, and her mother, academic painter, graphic artist, and restorer Veronika Jelenová, she has formed a team that mutually complements and enriches each other on family projects.
