About the artist:
Františka Jelenová is a Czech artist. She studied at the Secondary School of Textile Crafts in Prague, specializing in fashion design. Her studies at this school provided her with a strong foundational skill set not only in drawing itself but also in other artistic disciplines. After graduating, she began to apply these skills in her freelance drawing and painting work, largely inspired by the fantasy genre. A distinctive feature of her prints, watercolors, and drawings is exceptional craftsmanship and an eye for detail. Currently, she dedicates herself to creating lithographs, ex libris for Czech and foreign collectors, and illustration. Together with her father, graphic artist Oldřich Jelen, and her mother, academic painter, graphic artist, and restorer Veronika Jelenová, she has formed a team that complements and enriches each other on family projects.
