Petr Ptáček (*1965) is a Czech draughtsman, painter, and graphic artist. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he worked as an assistant lecturer in graphic art from 1992 to 2002. His work includes graphic art, painting, and illustration, and he is known for his mastery in creating ex libris and postage stamps.
Petr Ptáček's works are known for their distinctive poetic view of the world of technology. In his work, he often depicts cars, motorcycles, ships, airships, locomotives, etc. He uses the lithography technique to create his graphics, which he masters in the workshop of academic painter Martin Bouda. His works are part of private collections worldwide and also appear on postage stamps.
