About the artist:
Františka Jelenová is a Czech artist. She graduated from the Secondary School of Textile Crafts in Prague, specializing in fashion design. Her studies there provided her with a strong craft foundation not only in drawing itself but also in other artistic disciplines. After graduation, she began to use these skills in her independent drawing and painting work, largely inspired by the fantasy genre. A distinctive feature of her prints, watercolors, and drawings is her exceptional craftsmanship and sense of detail. Currently, she devotes herself to creating lithographs, ex libris for Czech and international collectors, and illustrating. Together with her father, graphic artist Oldřich Jelen, and her mother, academic painter, graphic artist, and restorer Veronika Jelenová, she has formed a team that complements and enriches each other on family projects.
