SIMON DITTRICH

Simon Dittrich (1940-2024) was a German painter and graphic artist. He studied at the Berlin University of the Arts. He received a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation and became a student of Hann Trier. In 1967, Simon Dittrich had his first solo exhibition in Ulm, which has been followed by more than 200 solo exhibitions to date.

In 1975, the artist's monograph was published, and since 1976, various portfolios have appeared with themes of myths, historical figures and people like Kant and Kleist, as well as various urban landscapes. Simon Dittrich's works are found in public and private collections in Germany and abroad. Simon Dittrich lived and worked in Stuttgart, Munich, Tuscany, and Styria.
