MIROSLAV PÁRAL

Miroslav Páral was born on June 9, 1955, in Prague, but from the age of 5, he grew up and lived in Český Krumlov, where he spent most of his life. He was a painter and sculptor, and a distinctive feature of his work was primarily distorted but monumental human torsos responding to the changing world around him.

In 1991, he founded the Agency of Czech Ceramic Design, and his studio became a significant place where artists from all over the world gathered. He was the chairman of the Association of Fine Artists for Ceramics and was an active member of the committee of the Union of Fine Artists of the Czech Republic.

Miroslav Páral was an exceptional and talented personality who left an indelible artistic mark. He passed away on August 17, 2022, at the age of 67.
