MARTIN RAUDENSKÝ
Martin Raudenský (*1968) is a graphic artist focusing on drawing, printmaking, and illustration. His work encompasses not only graphic arts but also multimedia and artist's prints. He teaches at the Faculty of Art and Design at UJEP in Ústí nad Labem and at the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague. Martin Raudenský addresses issues in graphic art through both theoretical and pedagogical work. He also dedicates himself to his own artistic creation.
In recent years, he has regularly exhibited at a number of important exhibitions in the fields of book design, graphic design, and illustration (Brno Biennial, Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava, Buch Kunst Hamburg, Photography & the Artist Book New York, Komiksfest Prague, etc.).
In 1999, he co-founded the graphic design group "Rizoto," which focuses on projects at the intersection of applied design and visual art, often aimed outside traditional gallery spaces (interventions in public space, interactive computer animations, comics, etc.). Since 2005, he has collaborated with the leading independent theater ensemble "Buchty a loutky." Since 2010, he has been a member of the "Ilustrátoři.net" association.
